Boomer on the Loose: Where's my mail?
Get much Mail? Boomer on the Loose gets mail, but mostly asking for donations to her alma mater.
Do you get much mail? I hardly get any these days. Nothing good, anyway.
If it weren't for my college alumni association, I'd hardly get any mail at all.
Funny how my high school reunion couldn't find me, but my college knows where I am--always. And they think I'm a much more financially successful alum than I am. I like their faith in me, but I really can't afford more than the pittance I send them each year. I wish it were more--really. The scholarship I got in my senior year paid for my wedding dress. It came in handy.

Now I get mail from my college weekly, it seems. And, now that it must be giving season, I get mail from Indiana practically daily.
I had to give in and say yes to a donation because they not only send me frequent mail, but when I was in Italy last month, they called me daily. I never answered, but AT&T charged me anyway for each call.

It's nice to feel acknowledged, so I guess I'll still give a little so someone younger can get a good job and contribute soon.
