Bring Your Appetite to the Library This Summer--Reading is Soooo Deicious!

 
Readers of all ages
are invited to feast on great books at the Los Alamitos/Rossmoor Library and
join the “Reading is so Delicious” Summer Reading Program!  The 2013 Summer Reading Program is open to
adults, kids, and teens.  Participants
will earn chances to win prizes just for checking out and reading library
books.  To sign up, visit the library
starting June 24.

 Kids ages 3-9 are
invited to our weekly “Sizzling Summer Wednesday” events, June 26 – July 31
from 3:30pm – 4:15pm!  Events will feature
magicians, wild animals, dance, and more. 
These events are FREE, thanks to the generosity of the Friends of the
Library.

 Help out the Friends
of the Library by visiting local area restaurants for “Dine-Out Wednesdays,”
June 24 through Aug. 3.  Visit www.friendsoflarlibrary.org for
dates and participating restaurants and to download the Friends’ fundraising
flyers.  These restaurants will donate a
percentage of your check to the “Community Front Porch Project” and flyers must
be presented when ordering.
