Britain Outraged after U.S. Bars Muslim Family from Flying to Disneyland
An English legislator is accusing the U.S. of 'Trumping' a British Muslim family barred from boarding a flight to LAX to go to Disneyland.
Officials in England are in an uproar after the United States refused entry to at least one British Muslim family headed to Disneyland.
In a widely quoted letter to Prime Minister David Cameron calling for an investigation into the incident, one member of parliament openly fretted that UK Muslims are being ātrumped,ā referring to presidential contender Donald Trumpās proposal to ban Muslims from entering the country.

MP Stella Creasy wrote Cameron after a family of 11 was refused entry on a flight headed from Gatwick to Los Angeles for a trip to Disneyland.
In an article for the Guardian, Creasy wrote,āOnline and offline discussions reverberate with the growing fear UK Muslims are being ātrumpedā ā that widespread condemnation of Donald Trumpās call for no Muslim to be allowed into America contrasts with what is going on in practice.ā

According to the BBC, a Muslim family of 11 was stoppedĀ on Dec. 15 by U.S. officials, who told them they would not be allowed to fly to Los Angeles.
āMohammad Zahid Mahmood said his family was given no reason why US officials had refused to allow them to board,ā the BBC reported.
Mahmood reportedly wanted to visit his brother, a U.S. citizen living in Southern California, while taking his family to Disneyland.
