At Capacity, Disneyland Turns Away Visitors

Guests were turned away at the gates, and those inside waited in lines for hours on Christmas Day.

The happiest place on Earth became the most crowded place on Earth Christmas day, forcing the theme park to turn people away at the gate.

Disneyland reached capacity, and those lucky enough to get behind the gates found themselves waiting in three-hour-long lines.

The LA Times reports that the theme park closed its gates for four hours, urging visitors to go to California Adventure instead. According to the newspaper, the corporation has two options: keep turning people away, or keep raising prices to discourage crowds. Currently, the park charges $96 for adults and $90 for kids.
