This Car Involved In Stanton Fatal Hit And Run

STANTON, CA — A car much like this one was involved in a Thursday evening fatal hit and run, the Orange County Sheriff’s Department Investigators said. They are looking for a 2007 GMC Yukon believed to be involved.

Deputies at just after 8 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 19, responded to reports of a vehicle hitting a pedestrian at the intersection of Beach Boulevard and Katella Avenue.

"The pedestrian, 59-year-old Daniel Becerra, was crossing the street against a red light when he was struck by a vehicle driving northbound," OCSD Public Affairs Manager Jaimee Blashaw said. "Investigators believe the Yukon, described as gold or a similar color, sustained moderate damage to the front right passenger side of the vehicle."
