Los Alamitos Recreation & Community Services presents a free Q&A on college application essays this Monday, May 23, 6 to 7 p.m. at the Community Center, 10911 Oak Street. Writing instructor and tutor Alison Cotter will answer your questions about the application process and the importance of the essay. High school juniors are encouraged to attend. Open to all high school students. Parents welcome too!
