County Approved $6.4 Million Harbor Dredging Project
The county will fund a dredging project in the harbor separating Sunset Beach and Seal Beach.

Orange County supervisors recently voted to seek bids for the dredging of the Sunset/Huntington Harbor between Seal Beach and Huntington Beach.
The project, which is estimated to cost $6.4 million, will go out to bid Sept. 16.
The work will also include the installation of a 14-inch-diameter waterline under the Huntington Harbour channel, which is estimated to cost $925,000. The city of Huntington Beach was expected to pick up the tab for the waterline project.
