Possible DUI Crash Reported Friday Afternoon In Seal Beach

The crash was reported around 11:45 a.m. and caused traffic congestion in both directions on Pacific Coast Highway in Seal Beach.

SEAL BEACH, CA — A possible DUI crash reported on Pacific Coast Highway resulted in some slow-moving traffic Wednesday afternoon in Seal Beach, Seal Beach Police Department Lieutenant Julia Clasby told Patch.

The crash was reported at around 11:45 a.m. on Pacific Coast Highway near Marvista when a gray pick-up truck crashed into a tree.

According to a Patch eyewitness, the truck sustained front-end damage and was missing some of its wheels, which were seen roughly 200 feet from the crash site.

The sole occupant of the truck was arrested on DUI charges. He was taken to a hospital for unspecified injuries, Clasby said.
