Get prepared for back to school with the Cypress Library’s Writer’s Ink Summer Camp! This is a free week-long program that gives students entering 1st through 4th grade the opportunity to practicing writing before school starts.
Each day will have a different focus, allowing students to develop a variety of skills that they will be able to implement into their writing during the school year. By the end of the week, students will have been able to complete multiple unique and imaginative stories under the guidance of motivated high school volunteers. Emphasis is placed on helping students develop a lifelong passion for reading and writing by encouraging them to come up with a story and use writing to bring it to life.
Program will be held August 1st thru 4th, 10-11am in the library’s program room. All materials will be provided.
