Rossmoor Man Found Safe After Being Reported Missing Monday

ROSSMOOR, CA — A 76-year-old Rossmoor man who was reported missing Monday morning was found later the same day, the Orange County Sheriff's Department reported.

Peter Goddard left his Rossmoor residence at 8 a.m. Monday. He typically travels using his white Diamondback bike, authorities said.

He was last seen wearing a blue and white plaid shirt, black undershirt, blue jeans, brown loafer-styled shoes and a white helmet. He was described as a white male roughly six feet tall and weighing 190 pounds.

Goddard has gray hair and brown eyes, according to authorities.

Sheriff deputies said that Goddard is known to ride his bicycle near the San Gabriel River from Katella, toward the jetty in Seal Beach.
