SEAL BEACH, CA ā While the season changes from summer to fall, the American Red Cross' need for donated blood remains the same ā especially amid a current nationwide blood shortage.
The American Red Cross is hosting a slew of blood drives across Orange County and offering an abundance of incentives for scheduling an appointment.
All donors who donate blood through Sept. 30 will automatically be entered to win a free VIP NASCAR racing experience. In addition, residents who donate before Sept. 30 will receive a free haircut coupon courtesy of Sports Clips.

Residents who donate blood between Oct. 1 and Oct. 31 will automatically receive a free $5 gift card to a vendor of their choice.

- Sept. 26, 10:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Casa Youth Shelter, 10911 Reagan St.
- Oct. 2, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at St. Isidore Historical Plaza, 10961 Reagan St.
- Oct. 12, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Old Ranch Country Club, 3901 Lampson Ave.
- Oct. 9, 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 14072 S. Olive.
