SEAL BEACH, CA — While the season changes from winter to spring, the American Red Cross' need for donated blood remains the same.

The American Red Cross is hosting a slew of blood drives across Orange County and offering an abundance of incentives for scheduling an appointment.

All donors who donate blood through April 30 will automatically be entered in a chance to win a three-night trip for two to Sonoma County. The getaway includes flights, hotel, $1,000 gift card and a special tour of the Charles M. Schulz Museum and Snoopy's Home Ice, Courtesy of Peanuts Worldwide.

In addition, those who come to give blood between April 1 and April 23 will receive an exclusive Red Cross and PEANUTS T-shirt featuring Snoopy as the "coolest beagle in town," Joe Cool, while supplies last.

"Don’t wait until there’s a crisis to give – donors of all blood types, especially type O blood donors and those giving platelets – are needed now to keep the blood supply strong enough to support critical patient care all season long," a news release for the American Red Cross said.
