Earthquake In Seal Beach: Did You Feel It?

SEAL BEACH, CA — Did you feel it? A small tremor rolled through Seal Beach on Tuesday morning at approximately 9:15 a.m. according to the U. S. Geological Survey.

The earthquake was centered just off the coastline, southwest of Seal Beach, west of Huntington Beach and north west of Newport Beach according to reports from USGS. The rolling quake was measured a slight 2.0 magnitude on the Richter scale, according to that agency, with an epicenter approximately 7.4 kilometers below the surface. No tsunami warnings were given from the quake.
