GARDEN GROVE, CA — An 89-year-old remains hospitalized after being stabbed repeatedly at a Garden Grove McDonald's over the weekend. Police shared the above video with the public of a man in dark clothes running through the McDonald's parking lot after the attack.

The victim was with his church group on Saturday morning when he went inside the restroom. Then, the brutal attack took place, Garden Grove police Lt. Carl Whitney said.

He was washing his hands "when this crazy dude" came behind and attacked him, stabbing him "nine times," Whitney told reporters.
