Fire Breaks Out In Family's Garage In Rossmoor: OCFA

The fire was caused by a build-up of lint in the family's dryer, Orange County firefighters said.

ROSSMOOR, CA — Orange County firefighters tackled a garage fire that broke out in the City of Rossmoor Monday afternoon.

The Orange County Fire Authority was called to the scene in the 3300 block of Rowena Drive for a reported garage fire.

Firefighters quickly located the fire upon arrival and doused the flames before they could expand beyond the dryer.

According to the Orange County Fire Authority, an initial investigation revealed that the cause of fire was accidental and due to lint build-up in the dryer.
