First-Ever LGBTQ+ Certified Pride Event To Launch In Seal Beach

Organizers behind Seal Beach Pride sought the public's help in donations that will be used to fund future Pride events.

SEAL BEACH, CA — The first certified LGBTQ+ Pride event is taking place in Seal Beach next weekend, and Orange County residents can help support Seal Beach Pride, Inc., as they host the event on Saturday, June 10.

As the event draws closer to its opening date, Seal Beach Pride, Inc. sought the community's aid in funding the upcoming event as well as future events via GoFundMe.

"The funds raised will not only cover the costs for the current event, including the performers, DJs, vendors, stage setup, and professional sound system but also support the organization in their ongoing efforts to organize more events and advocate for the LGBTQ+ community," SB Pride Vice President Stephanie Wade told Patch. "Contributions will not only make a positive impact on this event but also contribute to the long-term goals of Seal Beach Pride."
