Free Job Fair Set For Sept. 30 at Garden Grove Living Spring Church
Employers are hiring, and job fairs are a big reason why unemployment rates continue to drop. Interview with leading companies.

The unemployment rate across the United States continues to tick down to levels last seen before the recession of 2008. Although job growth in August slowed from recent months, the national unemployment rate fell to 5.1 percent. Some 8 million people around the country have secured work over the past three years – many of those coming through their attendance at local job fairs.
Job seekers will have an opportunity to meet with employers actively seeking to hire new employees when Living Spring Church in Garden Grove hosts the Orange County Job, Resource and College Fair on Wednesday, Sept. 30. The event is free and the church is located at 9851 Bixby Ave. in Garden Grove.
“Living Spring is looking forward to our first job fair,” said Living Spring Church Pastor John Rittenhouse. “We love our neighbors and feel it is our responsibility to help serve our community in a variety of ways. This feels like it fits right into what we are already doing. Our prayer is that many people will find employment and we are excited to be a part of that.”
