Free Kids Fishing Tournament In Seal Beach Set For This Weekend: What To Know
The annual event is hosted by the Los Alamitos, Cypress & Seal Beach Rotary Club.
SEAL BEACH, CA — Are you looking for a way to get out with the kids this upcoming weekend?
The Los Alamitos, Cypress & Seal Beach Rotary Club is hosting the 34th annual Kid's Fishing Derby at the Seal Beach Pier this weekend.
At the free event, kids up to 15 years of age can joint in on a fishing tournament with trophies for the top three fishers in three age groups.

Attendees will be provided with rods and tackle while supplies last.
In addition, prizes such as new bikes, fishing rods, reels, tackle and gear will be raffled off during the event.

The 34th annual Kid's Fishing Derby is on Saturday, Aug. 22, with registration starting at 7 a.m. and the tournament starting at 7:30 a.m.
