Free Library Lunch Program For Kids Dates Released

SEAL BEACH, CA — The Lunch at the Library program is returning to Orange County libraries this summer, and children and teens 18 and under can get free summer meals through the season.

Along with free meals, the Lunch at the Library program offers reading programs and other activities that support learning, health and wellness.

Near Seal Beach, residents can enjoy the Lunch at the Library program at the following libraries:

• Costa Mesa — Donald Dungan Library.
  • July 1 - Aug. 1, Monday through Friday from noon to 1 p.m.
    • Character days: July 6 - Pete the Cat, July 25 - Rainbow Fish.
• Lake Forest — El Toro Library.
  • June 12 through July 28, Monday through Friday from noon to 1 p.m.
    • Character Days: June 12 - Cookie Mouse, July 13 - Pete the Cat.
• San Juan Capistrano Library
  • June 12 through July 20, Monday through Thursday from noon to 1 p.m.
    • Character Days: July 11 - Pete the Cat
• Tustin Library
  • June 7 through July 28, Monday through Friday from noon to 1 p.m.
    • Character Days: June 8 - Cookie Mouse, July 20 - Rainbow Fish.
• Garden Grove — Chapman Library.
  • June 5 through July 13, Monday through Thursday from noon to 1 p.m.
