GARDEN GROVE, CA — A man who was shot multiple times in front of a Garden Grove home later died, authorities said.

The victim was found shortly after midnight, Monday morning. He was "laying in a driveway of a residence on the 12000 block of Corvette Street" and had suffered "multiple gunshot wounds," Garden Grove Police Lt. Carl Whitney said.

An ambulance rushed him to an area hospital, where he was pronounced dead about 7:30 a.m., according to Whitney.

Investigators plan to run his fingerprints to see if it leads them to his true identity, and as of now his identity is in question.

No arrests were reported, and no description was released of a suspect or suspects.
