SEAL BEACH, CA — Garden-lovers, rejoice — tickets are on sale for the 19th Annual Rossmoor Woman's Club Spring Garden Tour set for Sunday, May 21.

The fundraising event will feature six homes in the Rossmoor area where owners have created their own dream-landscapes.

"For die-hard gardeners, there's a home surrounded by jasmine, roses and poufs of geraniums," Rossmoor Woman's Club member and Public Information Officer Mary Susan Denley told Patch. "At another, real lavender, roses and wildflowers mix with faux blossoms for a lush English country look."

The tour will also feature a water-wise Mediterranean landscape featuring decomposed granite walkways, in-ground succulents, native grasses, cutting flowers, vegetables and herbs all corralled in a container garden with drip irrigation.

Residents who participate in the annual Spring Garden Tour will also enjoy an outdoor market place at Arbor Village offering refreshments, raffle baskets and music by harpist Julio Montero.
