Green Spaces Remain Open For Seal Beach Residents
While many areas stay closed, residents can venture into our open green spaces, officials say. Please remember social distancing.

SEAL BEACH, CA ā After a week of beach parking area closures, the City of Seal Beach wants to communicate to all residents and visitors that the green spaces are still open for use, with a few rules attached.
All green spaces within our parks remain available to the public, so long as they comply with Governor Newsomās order and practice social distancing, Seal Beach Recreation Manager Tim Kelsey said.
However, please note, all park amenities below remain closed until further notice. The following are not open for use at this time:

- hiking trails
- athletic fields
- tennis courts
- volleyball courts
- basketball courts
- handball courts
- dog park
- picnic areas
- community centers
"The City recognizes the green areas within our parks are a vital part of the Seal Beach
community,ā said Seal Beach Recreation Manager Tim Kelsey.
