Harrowing Purse-Snatching In OC Caught on Video [WATCH]

ANAHEIM, CA – Police in Anaheim are seeking the identity of a male suspect who appears on surveillance video apparently stealing a woman's handbag as she walked down the sidewalk, knocking her to the ground and dragging her in the process.

The incident occurred at 7:47 a.m. on March 14 in the area of State College Boulevard and South Street, the Anaheim Police Department said.

The man, described as Hispanic, of average height and build and in his mid-20s, is shown in the video exiting the passenger side of a black, four-door Chevrolet, then approaching the victim from behind, grabbing her purse and dragging her to the ground. The suspect yanked the purse from the female and ran to the waiting vehicle.

The driver never exited the car, police said, and a more detailed vehicle description was not provided.
