Helicopters, Firefighters On 405 Fwy: Honor Slain Fire Capt.

A procession honoring Long Beach Fire Captain Rosa was underway Tuesday, including low flying helicopters and firefighters from across SoCal

GARDEN GROVE, CA — Low flying helicopters and official vehicles were seen along the 405 freeway honoring Long Beach Fire Captain Dave Rosa. Capt. Dave Rosa, 45, was a 17-year veteran of the Long Beach Fire Department. He is survived by his wife and two children, after being fatally wounded in an apartment shooting, Monday.

The mortuary procession left downtown Los Angeles at approximately 3:45 p.m. and was slated to reach Orange County before 5 p.m.

Southbound 710 Freeway to the 405 Freeway, exiting Irvine Center Drive to Laguna Woods.
