High School Teacher Arrested for Alleged Sexual Abuse of Student

She has worked a number of temporary teaching assignments around the area. Police say there could be more victims.

Los Angeles police today announced the arrest of a 28- year-old high school teacher accused of sexually abusing one of her male students and said there may be additional alleged victims who have yet to come forward.

Michelle Yeh, who began teaching in the science department of San Pedro High School in February, allegedly started having private meetings with the 15- year-old alleged victim at the end of the school year. This month, the student came forward to allege that Yeh sexually abused him on several occasions.

Yeh has held a number of temporary teaching assignments in the area and also provided online tutoring, allowing her contact with other minors, according to police.

Yeh was arrested Friday and released after posting $100,000 bail. No criminal case has been filed thus far.
