High Surf, Pacific Storm Expected In Seal Beach
May gray persists, and along with it, measurable precipitation heads back to Orange County Thursday and Friday.

SEAL BEACH, CA ā It's getting windy as a Pacific storm angles into Orange County. After a day of higher than normal surf, rainy weather was expected to follow, according to the National Weather Service.
Across Orange County, showers and lower temperatures were forecast Thursday.
NWS has forecast a chance of measurable rain for the area starting after 11 p.m. Wednesday, until late afternoon, Thursday.
In Seal Beach, rainfall totals were estimated between .1 and .25-inches, according to National Weather Service San Diego spokesperson Samantha Connolly.

Wind gusts were also expected upwards of 22-miles per hour in Seal Beach, starting Wednesday afternoon through Friday morning, according to Connolly's report. Peak gusts in the mountain passes could reach 50 miles per hour, which could impact travel for high profile vehicles.
Residents can expect partly cloudy skies in Orange County, along with highs of 58 on Santiago Peak; 64 on Ortega Highway at 2,600 feet and in San Clemente; 66 in Newport Beach; 67 in Laguna Beach; 70 in Fremont Canyon and Trabuco Canyon; 71 in Yorba Linda and Mission Viejo; 72 in Anaheim and Irvine; and 73 in Fullerton.

Though Saturday's forecast looks dry and beautiful, more rain was expected to return early next week.
