High Winds, Strong Surf In Seal Beach This Week
A high surf advisory was issued in Seal Beach as 30-35 miles per hour winds rattle the town this week.
SEAL BEACH, CA ā Strong afternoon and evening winds are expected to run rampant across Orange County through Tuesday, and in Seal Beach, a high surf advisory has been issued by the National Weather Service. Residents can expects gusts of wind ranging from 30 to 35 miles per hour, and big swells up to seven feet.
The strong winds are anticipated to blow on through the evening, according to the National Weather Service. The high surf advisory will remain in place until 8 a.m. Tuesday.
Residents can prepare themselves for the high winds by securing any outdoor objects near their homes, such as potted plants, patio furniture and trash cans. Tree damage may be possible throughout the winds, and while driving on the freeway, residents should be wary of dangerous crosswinds for large vehicles.
