Huge Marijuana Grow Discovered In Placentia
A "huge" marijuana grow was discovered in Placentia, following a power pole fire, police said.

PLACENTIA, CA — A utility pole fire in Placentia led police to an illegal marijuana growing operation in an industrial building, authorities said.
The discovery was made about 3:15 p.m. Sunday in the 700 block of South Melrose Street but officers were still dealing with the marijuana plants at 5 a.m. Monday and faced hours more work, Pacentia police Sgt. Bryce Angel said.
"It's huge," Angel said. "They put up drywall and made a bunch of rooms for different sized plants."

Melrose Street was closed from Orangethorpe Avenue to Crowther Avenue in both directions due to the power pole fire. Motorists were advised to use alternate routes until further notice, police advised residents.
