SEAL BEACH, CA — While sitting at a local soccer camp, a Patch staffer looked up to see jumpers from Joint Forces Air Force Base raining down. This trio of photos, while a multi-cultural men's soccer game played out in the foreground, was a delight for all who witnessed it.

Patch staffer Paige Austin heard the hum of the helicopter overhead as she and other parents looked up to see the line of paratroopers conducting a training jump.

Parachutes opened as the helicopter winged away. Meanwhile, the soccer games played on during the summer weekend in Seal Beach.
