Local Families In Need Sought By Seal Beach Police For Annual Drive

Seal Beach police officers are looking for families in need this holiday season as they prepare for the annual Heroes and Helpers event.

SEAL BEACH, CA — The Seal Beach Police Department is looking for families in need this holiday season as the department prepares for the annual Heroes and Helpers community outreach event.

During the event, the SBPD will team up with Target in Seal Beach to bring holiday cheer to youth in Orange County.

"This time, we are not looking for a suspect — we are looking for families in need," SBPD Lieutenant Julia Clasby said. "Not only do the events make the holidays brighter from these kids, but they help strengthen relationships between youth and public safety officials."
