Long Beach Man Accused of Stealing, Wearing Seal Beach Woman's Clothes

Police are looking for witnesses to the crime.

A Long Beach man suspected of stealing women’s clothes in Seal Beach was arrested after allegedly being seen in those clothes, officials said.

The robbery occurred in the 1600 block of Seal Way in Seal Beach sometime between 9 p.m. Tuesday and 6 a.m. this morning, according to a press release from the Seal Beach Police Department.

Later in the day, officers observed Antonio Maitreya Nelton wearing women’s clothing in the 1700 block of Apollo. Remembering the theft reported earlier in the day, officers had the victim positively identify Nelton’s choice of fashion as her personal clothes, officials said.

Nelton was ultimately arrested under the suspicion of possession of stolen property and residential burglary.
