Longtime Rossmoor Woman's Club Member Honored For Service To Community
An extraordinary Orange County woman was honored at the Rossmoor Community Festival on Aug. 13.

ROSSMOOR, CA ā One exemplary Orange County woman was honored by the Rossmoor Homeowner's Association for her service to her community, and members of the Rossmoor Woman's Club attended the celebration to take part in the joy.
Georglyn Seligman, a woman's club member since 1993, was recognized on Aug. 13 as the Rossmoor Homeowner's Association's first Emeritus Life Member, according to a news release.
Seligman has served on the RHA board since the '90s, and was one of the founding organizers of the Rossmoor Picnic ā now known as the Rossmoor Community Festivals ā more than 15 years ago.

California State Assemblywoman Janet Nguyen presented Seligman with a plaque to commemorate the honor at the Rossmoor Community Festival on Aug. 13, according to a news release.
Residents interested in learning more about the Rossmoor Woman's Club, a philanthropic and social organization affiliated with the international General Federation of Women's Clubs, can visit the club's website. Members do not have to be residents of Rossmoor to be accepted.
