Los Al Program To Take Kids Around World In 40 Days Without Leaving Class
City accepting registration for its summer "Ready, Set, Go!" program.

Los Alamitos will offer preschoolers a chance to go around the world in 40 days -- without leaving the classroom -- starting next month.
The city’s Recreation and Community Services Department is accepting registration for their summer preschool program “Ready, Set, Go!”
There are two sets of classes: a Tuesday and Thursday class for kids three and four years old and Monday-Wednesday-Friday class for kids four4-and 5-year-old.

The program will present children with literature based on fiction, poetry, folklore and drama from around the world.
The program is an 8-week summer session from July 1 to Aug. 23 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. with no class on July 4th. Parent involvement is not required during the summer session. Students must be age appropriate and potty trained.
