Los Alamitos Chamber of Commerce Celebrating Community At Gala

The Business, Citizen, Community Partner & the greatest Economic Impact of the Year will be announced at the January gala event.

LOS ALAMITOS, CA - An all-star Gala event will provide a showcase for the best and brightest members of the Los Alamitos community.

The Los Alamitos Area Chamber of Commerce celebrates our community's best at its Gala and Installation on January 10, when the Chamber will announce its Business of the Year, Citizen of the Year, Community Partner of the Year and an individual, group, or entity that achieved the greatest Economic Impact of the Year. (See full list of nominees below).

The formal celebration (dressed as your favorite Oscar winner or in formal wear) to strengthen the ties that bind our community together!

Each nominee is remarkable and worthy of recognition, a Chamber spokesperson said.

The winner of each award will be announced at the Gala, to be held at On the Greens Event Center from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Navy Golf Course, 5660 Orangewood Ave. in Cypress.

Prior to the awards ceremony and Chamber Installation, music will be provided by the Los Alamitos High School Jazz band during the hosted-bar cocktail hour from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m.

A photo booth will offer a fun opportunity for a memento of the event. A silent auction will tempt you with one-of-a-kind items ranging from a portable solar cooker to stylish women's accessories.

(Items for the silent auction may still be donated. Call Toni Hauger at the Chamber office at 562-598-6659 to make arrangements.)

In addition to recognizing and honoring these community builders, the Chamber will install its 2019 Governing Board. Officers will be:
