Los Alamitos Election 2018: Council Seats Up For Grabs

Election Day is November 6! Here's everything you need to know about voting in Los Alamitos.

LOS ALAMITOS, CA — The city of Los Alamitos will hold its General Municipal Election on Tuesday, Nov. 6. government offices.

Vote by mail. Postage will not be required to return the vote by mail ballots, but they can also be dropped-off at Los Alamitos City Hall during business hours from Oct. 9 through Nov. 6.

Also in Los Alamitos, the Los Alamitos Unified School District is looking for two new board members.

Residents will vote for two candidates from the following list:

  • Connor Swan Smith - Student
  • Marlys Davidson - Teacher & Education Consultant
  • Jeffrey Barke - Primary Physician
  • Diana D. Hill
  • Olaina Anderson - Former High School English Teacher and Community Volunteer

Measures being voted for include:

Measure G: To authorize bonds to renovate, construct, acquire classrooms, science labs and more for local schools.
