Los Alamitos Election 2018: Council Seats Up For Grabs

LOS ALAMITOS, CA — The city of Los Alamitos will hold its General Municipal Election on Tuesday, Nov. 6. government offices.

Vote by mail. Postage will not be required to return the vote by mail ballots, but they can also be dropped-off at Los Alamitos City Hall during business hours from Oct. 9 through Nov. 6.

Residents will vote for four of the six candidates:

• Mark Chirco - Candidate Interview by LosAl TV
• Tanya Doby - Candidate Interview by LosAl TV
• Gisele “GiGi” Finch- Candidate Interview by LosAl TV
• Dean Grose - Candidate Interview by LosAl TV
• Shelley Hasselbrink - Candidate Interview by LosAl TV
• Warren Kusumoto- Candidate Interview by LosAl TV

Also in Los Alamitos, the Los Alamitos Unified School District is looking for two new board members.

Residents will vote for two candidates from the following list:

• Connor Swan Smith - Student
• Marlys Davidson - Teacher & Education Consultant
• Jeffrey Barke - Primary Physician
• Diana D. Hill
• Olaina Anderson - Former High School English Teacher and Community Volunteer

Measures being voted for include:

Measure G: To authorize bonds to renovate, construct, acquire classrooms, science labs and more for local schools.
