Los Alamitos Lady Griffins Suffer Loss To CDM: Women's Water Polo
The varsity women of Corona Del Mar met with Los Alamitos as the Sea Kings and Griffins battled it out in the pool.
LOS ALAMITOS, CA — The lady Griffins of Los Alamitos High School varsity women's water polo met with the Sea Kings of Corona Del Mar High School to do battle in the Surf League opening match, Tuesday.
The Sea Kings defeated the Griffins, 6-3, after two goals scored by Sophie Wallace, according to the Los Angeles Times.
Maya Avital made 11 saves for Corona Del Mar, and Megan Peterson completed five steals. Los Alamitos is 2-5 overall for the 2018/19 season, 0-1 in league play.

The lady Griffins will next meet Laguna Beach on Tuesday, Jan. 15 at 7:30 p.m.
