Man Hospitalized After Inflatable Crashes Into Docked Boat
A man was listed in critical condition after an ocean rescue off the shore of Huntington Beach, Thursday.

HUNTINGTON BEACH, CA ā A man was listed in critical condition Thursday after he and a woman in an inflatable boat crashed into a docked boat in Sunset Harbor in Huntington Beach. Huntington Beach police and fire departments responded to the scene at approximately 9:30 p.m. Wednesday, near the block of 16000 Carousel Lane, according to officials.
Upon arrival, they found two good Samaritans and one of three victims from the inflatable boat. Two other victims were in the water, having both gone overboard. One was quickly rescued and one remained missing in the water, HBFD reported.
Two Huntington Beach firefighters performed a search of the area looking for the victim while additional resources were arriving on scene, Huntington Beach Fire Chief David Segura said.

The Marine Safety Dive Team, Huntington Beach Police Department, and Orange County Sheriffās also assisted in search operations.
"The man was located in the water, given immediate medical attention, and transported to a local hospital in critical condition," Segura said. "The woman was treated and released on scene."

It's unknown if drugs or alcohol were involved.
