Man Robs Los Al Liquor Store at Gunpoint
Authorities describe the man as in his late thirties, about five feet 11 inches tall and weighing 160 to 170 pounds.

A man in his late 30s robbed a Los Alamitos liquor store at gunpoint, authorities said.
The man entered Los Alamitos Market and Liquor Store at 3636 Katella Avenue at about 4:48 p.m. May 7, said Los Alamitos Police Department Capt. Bruce McAlpine.
“He goes behind the counter, walks up to the clerk who’s standing near the cash register, stands next to her and then points a handgun at her,” McAlpine said.
McAlpine described the gun as a black metal weapon, most likely a semi-automatic.
“He points the gun to her temple and demands that she open the cash register, and then orders her to lie on the ground,” McAlpine said.
The man made off with less than $600. After he left out the back of the store, the woman pressed the silent alarm.
No one was injured in the robbery.
The man was described as between 36- to 40 years old, 5 feet 11 inches tall and weighing 160 to 170 pounds. He was reportedly wearing a black hooded sweater, dark jeans and dark-colored "Vans"-style shoes.
