The pool at McGaugh Elementary School will close for repairs Saturday.
Staff expect the facility, which is normally open to the public, to reopen June 17.
Workers will perform tile, surge pit and diving board maintenance, according to Tim Kelsey, Seal Beach administrative manager.
The pool was last renovated in 2010.
According to the city’s website, the pool was built in 1964, is 25 yards in length, has six lanes open for lap swimming and the water temperature is maintained at 80 degrees.
