Waking up with the waves on Monday, I'm Surf Junkie Jeff with your Los Alamitos-Seal Beach Patch surf report. Well, there's not much happening along this stretch of coast. So, you'll probably want to get out of town and head south a little if you're planning on finding any playful waves.
The conditions are starting off mostly clean and glassy, with a combination of some minor leftover west-northwest swell and a remnant of southerly energy in the water. That's offering some pretty small and weak little lines, with not much to work with.
Most Seal Beach spots are showing ankle-high waves, with the focal points pulling a few knee-high plus-sets.

At 5:19 this morning the tide dropped to a 1.5 low, which will have many spots lacking water early on. The tide then pushes up to a 3.9 high at 11:03 later this morning and then drops once again to a 1.0 low at 5:14 this evening.
If you're planning on paddling, break out at least a 3/2 full-suit and maybe the booties, with the water temperature averaging between 56 and 57 degrees. See ya in the water!
