Motorcyclist Dies In Hit-And-Run Crash
The man was struck from behind by a motorist in a Lexus in nearby San Pedro, police said.

SAN PEDRO, CA – A man died after his motorcycle was struck from behind by a car in San Pedro and the driver ran away, authorities said today. The hit-and-run crash happened at about 10:50 p.m. Sunday at 30th Street and Pacific Avenue, according to Sgt. James Kelly of the Los Angeles Police Department's South Traffic Division.
The motorcyclist was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead, Kelly said.
The driver of the Lexus IS 250 got out of the luxury sedan and ran, but his two male passengers stayed in the car, the sergeant said.

Detectives were questioning the passengers this morning, Kelly said.
