OC Preschool Teacher Shot With Pellet Gun At Drive-Thru Party
A Huntington Beach drive-thru celebration turned to chaos, Tuesday after someone fired a pellet gun, striking a teacher.

HUNTINGTON BEACH, CA ā A Huntington Beach preschool's drive-through celebration turned chaotic, Tuesday, when a pellet gun was fired and struck a teacher.
The Oak View Preschool on the 17000 block of Emerald Lane was in full swing of the end-of-year event when a teacher was shot with a pellet in her leg, according to Huntington Beach Police Spokeswoman Angela Bennett.
"The teacher felt something in her leg and saw a little bit of blood," Basset reported. "Nobody saw or heard anything" before the teacher realized that she was shot.

Parents and students were quickly evacuated from the scene and the police were called. The teacher, who remains unidentified as of this report, was taken to a hospital where she was treated and released for minor injuries, Bennett said.
Police have not established a motive for the shooting, and no weapon was found as of this report.
