One Dies in Rollover Accident on 605 in Los Alamitos
Passers-by tried to pull victims out of the burning vehicles, according to a CHP log.
A man was killed and a number of people injured in a collision on the northbound San Gabriel Valley (605) Freeway in Los Alamitos, authorities said today.
The three-vehicle collision occurred just north of Katella Avenue around 9:20 p.m. Thursday, according to a California Highway Patrol online incident log.
Witness reports quoted on the log said one of the vehicles overturned and caught fire and that passers-by tried to pull victims out of the vehicles.

The person who died was a man who was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the coroner's office.
