Parking Town Hall Meeting Dates Announced In Seal Beach

Seal Beach residents, visitors and business owners were urged to attend the several meetings set up to discuss parking changes in the city.

SEAL BEACH, CA — Seal Beach wants to know how you feel about parking in the city, after the city's Citizen-Council Parking Advisory Ad Hoc Committee launched a survey and a slew of town hall meeting dates designed to discuss potential parking changes.

Both the survey and the meeting dates are crucial steps in helping the committee make an informed recommendation to the Seal Beach City Council regarding the potential implementation of paid parking on Main Street.

"Main Street in Seal Beach has long been a vibrant and beloved destination for locals and tourists alike," Seal Beach Police Department Lt. Nick Nicholas said. "However, the increasing challenges of parking congestion have sparked discussions about potential solutions to address this issue."

  • Opinions on the possibility of paid parking.
  • Suggestions for alternative solutions to improve parking accessibility.
  • Considerations for balancing the needs of business and residents.
  • Overall perspectives on the future of Main Street parking.

In addition to the survey, the committee is also hosting a series of community town hall meetings intended to represent a proactive and inclusive approach to addressing parking concerns and fostering a dialogue within the community.
