Pedestrian Killed In Stanton
The woman died at the early-morning accident scene, deputies said.
STANTON, CA – A female pedestrian was struck and killed by a vehicle Friday morning in Stanton.
The crash was reported at 2:58 a.m. in the area of Beach Boulevard and Bever Place, said Lt. John Roche of the Orange County Sheriff's Department. The pedestrian died at the scene, he said.
The driver remained at the scene and is cooperating with the investigation, authorities said.

A section of Beach Boulevard was closed until about 8 a.m. while an investigation was conducted.
