Person Severely Injured In OC Hit-And-Run, Police Say
Authorities sought the public's help in identifying the driver wanted on suspicion of a hit-and-run that left a person severely injured.
WESTMINSTER, CA — A pedestrian was hit by a vehicle and severely injured in Westminster, with the suspect fleeing the scene before police could arrive, authorities said this week.
Westminster police officers responded at around 1:25 a.m. Monday to the area of Beach Boulevard and Bolsa Avenue to reports regarding a crash involving a pedestrian, according to the Westminster Police Department.
After an initial investigation, officers said they believe the crash happened in the southbound lanes of Beach Boulevard.

The pedestrian was treated at the scene and later taken to a hospital after enduring severe injuries from the crash, police said.
There was no description of the suspect vehicle, police said, and detectives continued an ongoing investigation on Thursday.
