SEAL BEACH — Seal Beach police are warning people to avoid a College Park East neighborhood due to unspecified police activity.

Shortly after 7 a.m., the Seal Beach Police Department tweeted a warning for residents to avoid the 3500 block of Columbine Street, which borders the San Diego (405) Freeway.

Authorities have not announced the nature of the threat. Several helicopters including at least one police helicopter circled the area.
