Police Dog Gets New Bulletproof Vest, Thanks To Seal Beach Donors

SEAL BEACH, CA — One Seal Beach K9's job just got a little safer, after K9 Saurus, of the Seal Beach Police Department, was gifted with a top-of-the-line K9 Storm Inc. Patrol SWAT Vest.

The vest was purchased in collaboration with K9s of Valor with the help of Christina Roof and a generous donation from two Seal Beach residents, Carol and Mike Spitt.

Thanks to the vest, K9 Saurus will now be protected against gunshot and penetrating wounds.

"We are so thankful for the continuous support we receive from our community," the Seal Beach Police Department wrote on Facebook. "It is such a pleasure to work in a beloved city like Seal Beach."
