Police Swarm Seal Beach Neighborhood Monday

SEAL BEACH, CA — Police officers swarmed a Seal Beach neighborhood Monday afternoon after a stolen vehicle pursuit ended in the arrest of three suspects, authorities said.
The police presence was reported at around 2 p.m. in The Hill neighborhood in the City of Seal Beach, Seal Beach Police Department Lieutenant Julia Clasby told Patch.
According to Clasby, the incident started after officers from the Huntington Beach Police Department engaged in a stolen vehicle pursuit on northbound Pacific Coast Highway, heading toward Seal beach.

Once the suspected stolen vehicle hit Pacific Coast Highway and Main Street, the three passengers inside of the vehicle left on-foot into the northwest area of The Hill neighborhood, Clasby said.
The incident resulted in authorities barricading off roadways in the neighborhood, she said.

With the help of Huntington Beach and Seal Beach officers — and the Huntington Beach helicopter — authorities successfully arrested all three suspects.
They were taken into custody by the HBPD and their identities were not released.
