Porsche Vs. Mustang Crash Kills Man In North Orange County

A man was fatally injured in a Huntington Beach collision between a Porsche and Mustang. Three others were injured in the crash.

HUNTINGTON BEACH, CA — A Porsche vs. Mustang high speed collision killed a 46-year-old man and injured three others late Wednesday evening in Huntington Beach.

The crash was reported at just after 7:30 p.m. in the area of Yorktown Avenue and Main Street, said Huntington Beach police Sgt. Julio Mendez.

The driver of the blue Porsche involved was taken to UCI Medical Center, where he died from his injuries, Mendez said. His name was not immediately released.

The other driver involved, a 20-year-old man, and his two passengers were taken to a hospital with minor injuries, according to Mendez.

Preliminary investigation revealed the Porsche was westbound Yorktown Avenue when it collided with the black Mustang, which was making a turn on Main Street from Yorktown.

No arrests have been made, police said.
